Physical HealthOur Physical Health is essential to our body’s ability to heal quickly and efficiently from injury and disease.
Our ability to move freely and without pain is the key to continued health. |
Psychological HealthOur psychological wellbeing plays an important role in determining our body’s overall vitality.
The strength our body requires to heal, and remain healthy, is directly related to how we prioritize our psychological health. |
Internal HealthWhat is happening inside our body often sets the stage for how quickly we heal.
If we are out of balance when it comes to nutrients & minerals required to sustain/improve health we may find our body is slow to heal. |
‘As a team-Canada athlete, we do extensive physical training both on and off the court. To ensure prevention of injury and rehabilitation, I have a team of dedicated therapists working together. This past season Andrea was my osteopath and yoga instructor. Using osteopathy, she worked on a full body approach to repairing injuries and remove restrictions which would inhibit movement. Through private yoga sessions she helped to stretch and release tension which was contributing to the injuries and preventing range of motion. She is by far the best yoga instructor and osteo I’ve ever had.’ |
‘As an athlete competing internationally both beach and court volleyball, I slowly started to develop shoulder and back injuries. Last season my shoulder required surgery post-season and Andrea helped to maintain existing range of motion/function so that I could play the season, as well she assisted in rehab post-surgery. She is my go-to-therapist!’ |
‘Andrea worked with my team as our therapist at USAV in Kentucky. Pre-Post event she worked with the athletes focusing on structural realignment and creating stability for competition and repair post-competition. She has been my osteopath for the past 3 years and has helped with injury prevention as well as rehab. She is amazing!’ |
